Martina Kainberger has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Martina is currently working at Digital Purpose as the Head of Technology, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, Martina held the role of Tech Lead at Digital Purpose from June 2016 to April 2022.

Before joining Digital Purpose, Martina worked at CarsGuide.com.au as the Platform Services Manager from July 2015 to May 2016. Martina also worked at CarsGuide.com.au at News Digital Media, where they were a Tech Lead from July 2014 to June 2015 and a Senior Software Developer from April 2013 to June 2014.

Martina was part of the founding team at Bubble Gum Interactive, where they were a Senior Software Developer from January 2011 to February 2013. Martina played a crucial role in building the game and website from scratch, including infrastructure setup and client/server architecture.

Martina's earlier work experience includes roles as a Senior Software Developer at Obsidian Data Pty Ltd in 2010, The White Agency from January to September 2010, NSW Department of Education from September 2009 to May 2010, Attain IT from July 2007 to August 2009, and as a Software Engineer at Optus from March 2006 to June 2007.

Throughout their career, Martina has acquired skills in various areas such as tech leadership, backend system management, architecture design, database development, website development, and integration of third-party tools. Martina has also demonstrated their ability to manage teams, train junior developers, and provide application support.

Martina Kainberger's education history began in 1993 when they enrolled at the University of Vienna to pursue a Master's degree in Psychology. Martina completed their studies in 2000 and obtained the degree of "Mag. rer. nat."

In 1998, Martina also attended the Technische Universität Wien for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, which they successfully completed in 2000. Their degree was specifically titled "Akad. gepr. Datentechniker."

Aside from their formal education, Martina Kainberger obtained several certifications in various subjects. In 2001, they became a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java2 Platform. Later, in 2003, they attained the certification of Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the J2EE Platform.
