John M Mulholland

Served as Deputy Commanding General, United States Special Operations Command where he led and supervised US Special Operations forces employed in upwards of 100 countries round the world, with primacy to on-going combat operations.

As Associate Director of Military Affairs, he served as the senior military advisor on operations, actions and activities for Defense interactions. As Commanding General, United States Army Special Operations Command, United States Special Operations Command, he led the world's market-leading ground and helicopter special operations capability. As Commanding General, Special Operations Command, Central, Commander, United States Central Command, he planned and executed special operations across the Middle East and South Asia in support of US national and regional strategy, goals and objectives. As Deputy Commanding General, Joint Special Operations Command, he acted as the Deputy Commander of the world's most unique and broadly capable special operations organization. Provided organizational leadership and guidance to this multi-million organization responsible for the development of cutting-edge applications of operational art, intelligence disciplines, technology, human performance and advanced tactics for global employment. Served as Acting Commander of JSOC forces in the Continental US whenever Commander, JSOC was forward deployed. Served as Acting Commander of JSOC operational forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
