Donald R. Sadoway

Prof. Sadoway is an expert in metallurgy. He is the John F. Elliott Professor of Materials Chemistry at MIT. The author of over 160 scientific papers and holder of 24 U.S. patents, he is the founder of two companies, Ambri and Boston Electrometallurgical. Viewed 1,750,000 times, his TED talk is as much about inventing inventors as it is about inventing technology. In 2012 he was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Professor Sadoway holds a BA in Engineering Science, and an MA and Ph.D. in Chemical Metallurgy, all from the University of Toronto.
