Mette Folden Kibsgaard has a diverse work experience. Mette Folden has held various roles in different companies since 2013. In 2013, they were an Corporate Brand & International Sales Intern at Xinya, where they worked on developing a strong global brand to compete in the international market. In 2014, they were a Marketing & PR Assistant at Green Plus, where they worked on creating great dining experiences for customers. In 2015, they were a Sales & Marketing Manager at US Zagna, where they developed a two-year sales and marketing strategy. In 2017, they were a Marketing & IT-Medarbejder, Studerende at Aalborg University, where they supported innovative students, researchers, and academics through creative initiatives. From 2016 to 2018, they were the Owner, Designer & Developer at FireFly Corporation, where they designed and developed websites for businesses and individuals. Finally, in 2018, they were the CMO at DigiShares.

Mette Folden Kibsgaard received their HF Degree from Nørresundby Gymnasium & HF in 2005-2007. Mette Folden then obtained their BSc in Business Economics from Aalborg University in 2009-2012. Lastly, they earned their Master's Degree in Innovation, Knowledge and Entrepreneurial Dynamics from Aalborg University in 2017-2019.
