Michael Watson currently serves as the Chief Compliance & Cybersecurity Officer at Digicel Group, a position held since May 2024. Prior to this role, Michael was the Group Chief Compliance Officer and Global Head of Compliance & Ethics at National Grid from May 2023 to December 2023. Michael's extensive experience includes roles at Wabtec Corporation as Group Chief Compliance Officer and Global Head of Compliance, Privacy & Enterprise Risk Management, and at GE, holding various positions including Senior Counsel and Global Head of Privacy & Enterprise Risk. Michael's legal career began at Paul Hastings LLP as a Litigation Associate, with additional experience gained through internships at Henderson Chambers and GE Corporate Legal Department. Academically, Michael completed the Executive Leadership Academy at Carnegie Mellon University, holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School, and a BA/MA in Criminal Justice from John Jay College (CUNY), with additional studies at King's College London.
