Brooke Lade has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 when they held multiple roles at The Oklahoma Daily as a Copy Editor, Reporter, and Columnist. In 2010, they held the role of Senior Staff Editor at the Journal of Global Affairs at the University of Oklahoma. In 2012, they were an Eighth Grade English Teacher for Breakthrough Collaborative and a Senior Editor for the Religious Studies Student Journal at the University of Oklahoma. That same year, they were also a Special Events Intern at the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of History. In 2013, Lade was a Reading and Language Arts Teacher at Tulsa Public Schools. In 2015, they were a Financial Analyst at Verizon. In 2016, they were an Education Policy Fellow at the Urban Leaders Fellowship, where they worked part-time with a representative on education policy and collaborated with fellows to create policy solutions. Brooke also held the role of Executive Director at Together Tulsa, a nonprofit expanded learning opportunity provider for underserved teenagers. Finally, in 2017, Lade was the Director of Marketing, Communication, and Culture at Digi Security Systems.
Brooke Lade attended the University of Oklahoma from 2009 to 2013 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International & Area Studies, Religious Studies, and Professional Writing.
