Jochen Biedermann serves as the Managing Director of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) since October 2018 and is the Managing Partner at FinTech Consult since April 2017, focusing on facilitating the growth and global expansion of FinTech companies. Biedermann holds significant roles including Member of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Nomination, Remuneration and Governance Committee at Eastnets, and Chairman of the Advisory Board at Melanin Kapital. Additionally, Biedermann is a Founding Board Member of the International Digital Economies Association (IDEA) and a member of the DIFC Digital Economy Court Working Group. As a Senior Advisor for Frankfurt Main Finance e.V. and Fellow of the Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA) Think Tank, Biedermann contributes extensively to the financial sector. Biedermann also chairs the Advisory Board at MES&DAK and provides expertise at the Sino-German Center at Frankfurt School. Biedermann earned a Diploma (Master) in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of Göttingen and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg.
