Peter is an international leader in the field of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and a highly respected surgeon, teacher and author.

He was elected President of the Lipoplasty Society of North America (LSNA), which he held for over five years. He is a founding member of many influential plastic surgery societies, and served on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation (PSEF). His past accomplishments include President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).

Peter graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and completed his residency training at Columbia University in New York where he served as Associate Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery. He is currently in private practice in Los Angeles, CA and Aspen, CO and is Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at UCLA Medical Center.
