Dr. Alan Nathan, PhD. is Professor Emeritus of Physics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and technical advisor for Diamond Kinetics.
After a long and satisfying career doing experimental nuclear/high-energy physics, he now spends his time doing research in the physics of baseball. He has published numerous papers on the subject, both in the academic and the popular literature, and has given many invited talks to wide-ranging audiences.
