Matthew McLaughlin, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as a Portfolio Specialist on Diamond Hill's international equity team since April 2023. Prior to this role, McLaughlin held the position of Senior Vice President at Harbor Capital Advisors, Inc. from June 2019 to April 2023, focusing on business development and relationship management with various financial institutions in the Great Lakes region. McLaughlin also has experience as a Portfolio Specialist at William Blair, where representation included six strategies with approximately $17 billion in AUM. Earlier roles at Harbor Capital Advisors encompassed various positions including Vice President of Research and Senior Account Executive, contributing to an $80+ billion subadvised mutual fund organization. McLaughlin's career began with internships at Heartland Financial USA, Inc. and JP Morgan after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Marketing from Loras College in 2008.
