Caren Ann Echague, HTL (ASCP), is an experienced histotechnologist with a diverse background in histology and laboratory techniques. Currently serving as Histotechnologist III at UC Davis Medical Center since February 2015, and also contributing to Stanford Health Care in the role of Histotechnologist since January 2015, Caren has extensive experience processing tissue samples for pathologists through various methods, including grossing, embedding, microtomy, and staining techniques. In addition, Caren has been a Histologic Technician at Diagnostic Pathology Medical Group, Inc. since June 2009 and held the position of Medical Laboratory Technician II at IDEXX Laboratories from September 2014 to December 2014. Caren holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from California State University-Sacramento.
