John Kennedy currently serves as the President for Europe at Diageo since January 2024, while also acting as an Independent Consultant and Sustainability Advisor, helping the company meet its net-zero emissions targets by 2030. Kennedy has a long-standing career at Diageo, holding several leadership roles since 1996, including President overseeing Europe, Turkey, and India, with a focus on navigating economic challenges and expanding markets. Outside of Diageo, Kennedy has contributed as a Non-Executive Director for United Spirits Ltd and held significant positions at Ibec and Social Entrepreneurs Ireland, emphasizing leadership in business and social enterprise. Educational qualifications include a BA in Political Science and Economics from Duke University, an MBA from Indiana University Bloomington, and a recent completion of the Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
