Ida Astrup Jørgensen has extensive experience in consulting and education, particularly focused on psychological support and advocacy for children and young people. Currently serving as a Børne- og ungekonsulent at Diabetesforeningen since May 2019, Ida advises families dealing with type 1 diabetes on support options and psychosocial challenges. Previously, Ida held positions such as Seniorvejleder at Børn, Unge & Sorg, and taught psychology at several educational institutions including Ørestad Gymnasium and Rysensteen Gymnasium. Earlier roles include editing and advising at Børns Vilkår and coordinating family projects aimed at empowerment and health. Ida holds a Cand.mag. in Psychology, Pedagogy, and Educational Studies, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Pedagogy and Communication from Roskilde University.
