Hannah Edwards is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager for Diabetes UK Cymru since January 2023. Previously, Hannah served as the Senior Communications Manager and Social Media Manager for the Independent Inquiry Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) from February 2017 to January 2023. Additional experience includes a role as Communications Officer at Health and Care Research Wales and as Regional Communications Officer at NSPCC. Early career work includes a Communications Officer position at Wales and West Housing Association Ltd. Hannah holds a CIPR Post Graduate Diploma in Communication and Media Studies from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a BA Honours in Journalism, Film & Broadcasting from Cardiff University. Furthermore, training includes a volunteer counsellor role with ChildLine and certification as a Mental Health First Aider through PR Academy.
