Vernon Byron is a multifaceted professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Mount Saint Mary College, where Vernon teaches "Contemporary Approaches to Art Making," emphasizing the work of female artists and artists of color. In addition to academic work, Vernon operates Vernon M. Byron Art & Design as a Creative Art Director, creating independent art installations in collaboration with various arts organizations. Vernon has been a Security Attendant at Dia Art Foundation since November 2011, ensuring the safety of employees and artwork while monitoring interactions. Previous experience includes a role as an Artist Assistant at Aurora Robson Studio from March 2014 to August 2015. Vernon obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from SUNY New Paltz in 2011.
