Uğur Bolat is a researcher currently working at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) in the Robotics Innovation Center, with a focus on quantum computing and machine learning since June 2022. Uğur has experience in machine learning applications, particularly graph neural networks and physics-based simulations. From June 2019 to May 2022, Uğur served as a research assistant at Technische Universität Chemnitz, specializing in mobile robotics, computer vision, and deep learning. Uğur's earlier work includes research assistant roles at Technische Universität Chemnitz with a focus on indoor localization and machine learning, and as a research and development engineer at İnovasyon Mühendislik Ltd. Şti. and Gymsa International, concentrating on mobile robotics, probabilistic models, and embedded systems. Uğur holds a Master's degree in Embedded Systems from Technische Universität Chemnitz and two Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Univerza v Mariboru and Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi, respectively.
