Sara-Jane Bittner is a researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since May 2023, focusing on the department of interactive machine learning. Additionally, Sara-Jane has served as a lecturer at Junior Uni Wuppertal since April 2014, where responsibilities include concept development for digital courses and leading workshops on digital education in response to the pandemic. Previous experience includes a role as an interaction researcher at Olo, where Sara-Jane conducted qualitative user studies, and tutoring at Universität Duisburg-Essen. Sara-Jane has also volunteered in media production at RTRFM 92.1. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from Aalto University and the University of Twente, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Applied Cognition and Media Studies from the University of Duisburg-Essen.
