Roland Roller is a Senior Consultant at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since October 2015, specializing in researcher and project management within the language technology lab, with a focus on information extraction and text analytics, particularly in clinical and biomedical contexts. Previously, Roland served as a Postgraduate Student at the University of Sheffield from October 2012 to October 2015, working on a PhD thesis centered on the extraction of relationships between biomedical concepts from Medline abstracts using distant supervision.
