Mark Springett is an experienced executive with a strong background in banking and operations. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at dfcu Bank since July 2022, Mark previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at RHINO ENERGY SOLUTIONS from August 2021 to July 2022. Prior to that, Mark spent over a decade at Absa Group, where roles included Deputy Chief Risk Officer, Head of Collections and Recoveries, and Head of Operations for Absa Africa. Mark's career also includes significant experience at Barclays as Head of Compliance & Control for Emerging Markets, overseeing due diligence for acquisitions in Russia and Uganda. Mark holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and completed Matric at St Stithians College in South Africa.
