Eoin Murphy

Assistant Legal Adviser at Irish Foreign Ministry

Eoin Murphy is a legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Principal and Assistant Legal Adviser at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland since October 2019. Prior to this role, Eoin worked as an Administrative Officer at the Department of Finance, managing NAMA interests and establishing Home Building Finance Ireland. Early career experiences include positions at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, where Eoin contributed as a Case Manager and intern for the defence team of Radovan Karadzic, and an organizing fellow for Obama for America. Eoin holds a Barrister-at-Law Degree from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, a Master of Laws in Public International Law from Leiden University, and a Bachelor of Laws from Trinity College Dublin.
