Ben Siddle is an experienced professional with a career spanning over two decades in international development and humanitarian work. Since September 2008, Ben has served as Evaluation Manager in the Evaluation and Audit Unit at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade in Ireland, focusing on evaluative work for learning and accountability. Previous roles within the department include Policy Lead for Climate Change, Nutrition Lead, and Deputy Head of Cooperation, where Ben managed teams on governance and rural livelihoods. Prior to this, experience includes serving as Programme Manager at Self Help Africa, as well as varied roles at Trócaire, including Humanitarian Officer and Programme Manager. Ben’s career began at the Forest Research Institute of Malawi as a Research Officer. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from the University of Aberdeen and a Master of Arts in Comparative Ethnic Conflict from Queen's University Belfast.
