Fred Hingst is an experienced professional currently serving as a High School Science Teacher at DeWitt Public Schools since September 2006, utilizing a strong background in scientific research to present complex concepts in an engaging manner. In addition to teaching, Fred works as a Solar Energy Consultant and Outreach Coordinator for Absolute Solar, where a passion for environmental sustainability drives efforts to promote solar energy solutions. Fred also holds the position of Commissioner for Lansing Area Summer Tour LLC, focusing on the organization of youth athletic events and developmental opportunities for young golfers. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology and a Master of Education in Public Administration from Michigan State University.
