Joel Van has extensive experience in the construction and energy sectors, currently serving as an Energy Auditor at DeVere Insulation and as a Business Manager at THANG CONSTRUCTION LLC since November 2021. Previously, Joel was a Construction Manager at ATLAS HOME ENERGY SOLUTIONS from 2015 to November 2021, overseeing project work plans, schedules, and quality control. Joel's background also includes roles as an Employment Specialist at Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area and as a Refugee Programmer at the Asian American Center of Frederick. Joel holds a Master of Architecture in Architecture and Urban Planning from Morgan State University and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Architectural Sciences and Technology from Montgomery College.
