Alanis Rosado is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in the field of psychology and direct support services. Currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at the Developmental Disabilities Institute since October 2018, Alanis collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to create optimal care plans and has obtained certification for administering medications. Alanis holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University, where involvement as a Teaching Assistant included supporting students on academic probation with resilience-based strategies. Previous internships include providing counseling support at License to Freedom, offering emotional support and resources at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, and assisting clients with substance use and mental health issues at Long Island Wellness Associates.
