Mario Rey T. Morales is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in corporate and institutional banking. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Officer-In-Charge of the Treasury & Corporate Finance Sector at the Development Bank of the Philippines since October 2020, Mario oversees the management of the bank's balance sheet, trading activities, and capital markets. Prior experience includes a tenure as Director at BNP Paribas CIB, where Mario led the development of commercial and institutional businesses. Additionally, Mario held the role of Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Citi and has experience at ING Barings as Assistant Vice President. Earlier in the career, Mario served as Senior Manager & Department Head at Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company. Educational qualifications include a Master in Business Management with a major in Finance from the Asian Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Agri-Business Management from the University of the Philippines.
