Maite M. currently serves as a Senior Legal Advisor for the Green Fund at the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) since March 2023, focusing on climate finance projects. Prior to this role, Maite M. was a Senior Legal Advisor at the Industrial Development Corporation of SA Ltd. (IDC) from October 2016 to February 2023, providing banking and finance legal support, conducting due diligence investigations, and collaborating on corporate finance transactions. Maite M. also gained experience as an Associate in Banking and Finance at TGR Attorneys Commercial Law Firm and held roles as a Candidate Attorney and Associate at Werksmans Attorneys. Maite M. holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Limpopo, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (Business and Commercial Law) from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Postgraduate Certificate in the Law of Banking and Financial Markets from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Limpopo.
