Lisa Babak is an experienced professional in marine conservation and sustainability, currently serving as a Policy Advisor at Deutsche Umwelthilfe since April 2022. Prior to that role, Lisa has worked as a Project Assistant at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies and as a Project Volunteer at London Sustainability Exchange, both since 2017 and 2016 respectively. In addition, Lisa has held the position of General Manager at Oliver's Village Cafe Limited since 2015, where responsibilities include staff management, event planning, and administrative tasks. Earlier experience includes work as a Translator and Analyst at Cubit Research. Lisa holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environment, Geography and Politics from the University of Melbourne, supplemented by a Study Abroad program at King's College London.
