Joseph Salama is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in financial crimes and litigation. Currently serving as the Global Head of Anti-Financial Crimes and AMLO at Deutsche Bank since May 2010, Joseph also holds the positions of General Counsel for the Americas and Chair of the Legal Diversity and Inclusion Council. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Joseph worked at Latham & Watkins LLP and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP as an associate and completed a judicial clerkship for the Honorable Thomas P. Griesa at the U.S. District Court. Joseph began a legal career in 1991 as a paralegal and has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University, as well as a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.
