Robin Chan is an experienced audio producer currently working at Detroit Free Press since October 2022. Prior to this role, Robin served as an operations technician at WEYI - NBC25, WSMH-FOX66, and WBSF-CW46 from February 2017 to August 2023, where responsibilities included directing automated live newscasts and overseeing master control operations. Earlier experience includes serving as a director and studio crew member at WJRT, Inc. from May 2009 to February 2017, managing live broadcast production and crew coordination. Robin also worked as a graduate assistant and lab instructor at Central Michigan University, teaching advanced audio production techniques. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Electronic Media Production and a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, both from Central Michigan University.
