Ivan Marenco is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the travel and hospitality sectors, currently serving as VP of Media Solutions at Despegar since April 2017. Ivan leads the Media Solutions unit, driving growth through data-driven strategies that connect tourism brands with millions of travelers in Latin America. In addition to current responsibilities, Ivan has held various leadership roles at Despegar, including VP of Destination Travel Partners and VP of Vacation Rentals, and has been the Interim VP of Media Sales since March 2025. Previously, Ivan worked in digital experience management at McDonald's and new business development at Telefónica, along with several analytical and managerial positions within the organization. Ivan holds an Executive MBA from IAE Business School and has pursued various professional programs in digital business and leadership from prestigious institutions, including the University of Chicago and MIT Professional Education.
