Belen Basabe is a finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance and financial analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Corporate Finance Manager at Despegar since December 2021, Belen is responsible for financing in key markets including Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru, as well as negotiating credit lines and managing relationships with banks, credit ratings, and insurance companies. Prior to this role, Belen held positions as a Senior Finance Specialist at Despegar, a Senior Financial Analyst at Tecpetrol, a Tax Analyst at Laiún, Fernández Sabella & Smudt, and an Accounting Analyst at Schifino Viajes y Turismo. Belen holds a Master's degree in Finance from Universidad del CEMA and a degree in Contabilidad from the University of Buenos Aires.
