Yves L. Giroux is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in business development and client relations within the insurance and wealth management sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Multi-Network Business Development at Desjardins Financial Security Life Assurance Company since May 2018, Yves has held various leadership roles including Vice President of Client Relations for Group Retirement Solutions at BMO Financial Group, where responsibilities encompassed annuities and life insurance business development. Yves has also contributed significantly to the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF) as Past Chair and Chairman of the Board. Previous experiences include consultancy in wealth management, positions at National Bank Financial and The Co-operators, and a tenure at Standard Life with roles spanning from National Director to Marketing Consultant. Yves holds a BBA from Université Laval and an Advanced Executive Certificate from Smith School of Business at Queen's University.
