Christian Beis has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Christian is currently serving as the Head of IT at Desitin Arzneimittel GmbH since October 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of IT Europe at GATX Rail Europe from December 2020 to September 2023. Christian also held the position of Head of Application Management at GATX Rail Europe from June 2019 to November 2020.

Before joining GATX Rail Europe, Christian worked at Libri GmbH as the Leiter IT Projekte from November 2018 to May 2019. Christian also served as the Lead Application Manager at Marquard & Bahls AG from February 2018 to September 2018.

Christian's previous experience includes being the Head of IT Product Portfolio Management at Hermes Fulfilment GmbH from April 2015 to January 2018. Christian held various roles at Tchibo, including Head of Marketing Systems, Head of Processes and Systems (Consumer Goods), and Head of Planning & Purchasing Applications from 2011 to 2015.

Their earlier career includes working as a Senior Consultant at Tchibo from 2005 to 2010, a Consultant at CSC from 2002 to 2005, a Consultant Trainee at Microsoft from 2001 to 2002, and a Werkstudent at Dataplan GmbH from 1996 to 2001. Overall, Christian Beis has accumulated extensive experience in IT leadership and management roles.

Christian Beis received their Abitur from Johann-Rist-Gymnasium Wedel in the period of 1983 to 1992. From 1993 to 2001, they pursued a degree in Computer Science at the University of Hamburg, earning a Diplom Informatiker.
