Dan Pickar has a diverse background in sales, education, and agricultural finance. Currently serving as an Inside Sales Representative and Warehouse Operator at Plumb Supply Company since December 2021, Dan previously worked as a Custom Cabinet Builder at Omega Cabinetry and in agriculture and commercial financing at Hills Bank and Trust Company, where community engagement was a key focus. Earlier experience includes roles as a Solar Energy Consultant at Iowa Wind and Solar and an Adjunct Professor of Agriculture at Hawkeye Community College. Dan also spent nearly a decade as an Agriculture Teacher at Alburnett High School. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Drake University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Teacher Education from Iowa State University, complemented by an Associate’s Degree in Agriculture from North Iowa Area Community College.
