Derek Peebles is an experienced professional specializing in policy advocacy, economic development, and youth services. Currently serving as an Affiliate Consultant for Designed Learning, Derek facilitates the Six Conversations That Matter® program for business leaders and implements transformative leadership principles. As Senior Director of Policy & Advocacy for the American Sustainable Business Network, Derek engages investors and leads initiatives promoting racial equity and inclusive economies. Prior roles include Executive Director at the American Independent Business Alliance, where Derek expanded buy-local campaigns, and Associate Vice President of Youth Services at the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio, overseeing comprehensive programs for youth. Derek's educational background includes a BA in Public Relations from Eastern Kentucky University.
