Nishanth Araveti is a dedicated and accomplished individual currently serving as a Jeanette K. Watson Fellow at the Watson Foundation since April 2022, focusing on leadership development for remarkable students. Concurrently, Nishanth volunteers in patient advocacy at Bellevue Hospital through NYU Langone Health and conducts neuroscience research at the Melendez-Vasquez Lab at Hunter College. Previous experiences include an internship with the International Rescue Committee, where innovative qualitative data analysis techniques were developed, an internship with the Global Bioethics Initiative involving research and publication of bioethics topics, and research internships that contributed to advancements in MRI technology. Nishanth is pursuing a double major in Philosophy and Behavioral Neurobiology at Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York and Hunter College, building on a strong academic foundation from Hunter College High School and additional coursework in bioethics from GeorgetownX.
