Get Your Fun On with the Desert Recreation District!  Located in the Coachella Valley of Southern California, DRD is the largest park and recreation district in the state, providing programs, activities and special events to residents in six cities and eight unincorporated areas.  Our programs, events and activities are offered in 25+ facilities and parks, our Fun Zones, that cover over 1,800 square miles.  

Fun is everywhere throughout the Coachella Valley!  As an organization, DRD partners with the communities we serve to encourage residents to maintain healthy lifestyles through wellness activities and events. From out-of-school programs for kids to evening basketball leagues for adults, DRD provides fitness options for everyone.  Special events are organized to encourage individual, family and group participation and to introduce residents to exciting happenings throughout the Valley.

DRD Fun Zones have various amenities that are perfect for private events or parties. From party rooms to basketball courts, there is a DRD facility or park to meet most needs.
