John Macdonald, CFA, currently serves as AVP of Finance at Desert Financial Credit Union since May 2021. Prior to this role, John held the position of Senior Director at Alliant Credit Union from January 2013 to May 2021, focusing on treasury and investments. Earlier experience includes serving as Director of Financial Products at Balance Sheet Solutions, LLC from January 2006 to January 2013, and as an Investment Consultant and Supervisory Delegate at TD Ameritrade from January 2003 to January 2006. Additionally, John worked as a Financial Advisor at H&R Block Financial Advisors between January 2001 and January 2003. John Macdonald holds a CFA charter from the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute and a BA in Financial Economics from DePaul University.
