Jorge Gòmez has worked in various roles since 2017. In 2017, they worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Tek Experts, where they provided solutions and workarounds to customer issues, troubleshot customer issues, and documented issues and steps to solve them. Jorge also worked as an Assistant IT Pasant at Poder Judicial Costa Rica, where they helped end users, created new profiles and granted permissions, and configured and managed audio and video equipment. In 2018, they worked as a Developer at CIP Reporting, where they developed new systems from the bottom and created new features or changed existing ones, as well as providing basic support to customers with new feature requests. Finally, in 2019 they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Desert Development Company, providing software technical support through the official ITSM system, conducting scheduled maintenance operations over production environments, and alerting about high impact incidents and acting following the respective major incidents handling procedure.
Jorge Gómez attended Universidad Fidélitas from 2015 to 2018, where they earned a Bachillerato in Ingeniería informática. Jorge then continued their studies at the same university, obtaining a Licentiate degree in Computer and Information Sciences, General in 2019. In 2021, they obtained an ITIL V4 Certificate from Universidad Cenfotec in the field of Inf.
