Jimmy Villalobos has been in the software engineering industry since 2008. jimmy began their career at avVenta Worldwide as a Senior Software Engineer and Web Developer. In 2010, they moved to Digital Arbor as a Software Engineer. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at SlimSoft Solutions Inc. as a Senior Software Developer, where they were responsible for directing the installation of development and testing environments and for the estimates and planning of development work. In 2013, they joined Factora as a Senior Software Developer and had the responsibility of leading the analysis and definition of the technical aspects of software development projects, as well as leading the design, implementation, testing and installation of applications developed by the team. In 2016, they moved to Desert Development Company as a Software Engineer. Currently, they are working at Information Technology Support as a Senior Software Engineer.

Jimmy Villalobos obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad de Costa Rica UCR between 2002 and 2005. In 2018, they also obtained a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) and a Scrum Master Professional Certificate (SMPC) from CertiProf. Additionally, they have completed two courses from Code School: Shaping up with Angular.js.
