Jim Alemany has over two decades of experience in the technology and logistics sectors, currently serving as the Director of Logistics Execution Solutions at Descartes Systems Group since October 2002. Notable advancements in product management have led to the oversight of an expanded portfolio, including Freight Forwarder solutions. Prior titles at Descartes include Director of Rate Management Solutions, Product Manager, Development Manager, and Web Developer/Team Lead for the Negotiator ocean tendering product. Jim's earlier career includes positions as a Web Developer at Sandvine and as a Marketing Coordinator at both PixStream and Rutherford Controls International. Jim holds a Master of Arts in Political Science (1991) and a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (1990) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
