Chandan Mitra is a Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital since May 2022. Furthermore, Chandan serves as Adjunct Faculty at Harvard University and Des Moines University, contributing to medical education through collaboration with the Harvard Macy Institute. Prior experience includes Associate Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Mercy Medical Center - Des Moines, where Chandan played a key role in establishing the program, guiding resident education, and serving in various faculty roles. Chandan's educational background includes completing an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, a Master of Public Health from Tulane University, and an MBBS from Dhaka Medical College.
