Ed Jones is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in service desk management and system administration. Currently serving as a Workplace and Mobility Engineer at Derbyshire Constabulary since October 2018, Ed previously held roles including Windows 7 ELS engineer at Computacenter @ Rolls-Royce and IT Service Desk Team Lead at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where responsibilities included managing 1st and 2nd line service desk staff and providing 24-hour support to police services across the UK. Ed's career began at Bridgend County Borough Council and mid Glamorgan County Council as a Service Desk Analyst, followed by significant experience as a Unix Systems Administrator at Amtrak Express Parcels. Ed holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Aberystwyth University.
