Lauren Asquith is an experienced professional in football and mental health, currently serving as the Head of Lifelong Learning at Derby County Football Club, where leadership focuses on developing a unique department within the EPP Academy System. Lauren has previously held roles such as Academy Player Care Manager at the same club, where responsibilities included designing life skills programs and player wellbeing support. Other significant experience includes serving as the Para Football Women’s Talent Pathway Lead for The Football Association, contributing to the establishment of the England Blind Women’s Football Team, and extensive involvement in equality, diversity, and inclusion initiatives at Derby County Community Trust. Lauren has also been active as a mental health and wellbeing trainer with Oakwood Training and has played roles in various organizations, including Derby County Ladies Football Club and Youth Sport Trust.
