Kara Jo MacFadyen currently serves as the Head of Communications and Marketing at Derby City Council since July 2017, following a role as Senior Communications Officer. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Officer at Leicestershire County Council from July 2016 to July 2017 and working as a Marketing and Promotions Consultant with Creativity in Care between June 2014 and June 2017. Additionally, Kara held the position of Web and Social Media Campaign Manager at Parkure from November 2014 to April 2015. Kara holds a BA (Hons) degree in Public Relations and Marketing from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
