Manuel Burger has a diverse work experience in the travel and tourism industry. Manuel started their career in 2005 as an Apprentice at Hotelplan Suisse, where they gained valuable knowledge and skills. Manuel then worked as a Travel Agent at Hotelplan Suisse from August 2008 to March 2012. In 2012, Manuel joined Groupon as a Key Account Manager Travel for a few months before moving to Fleet Logistics Switzerland GmbH as an Account Manager from September 2012 to December 2013.

Manuel joined DER Touristik Suisse AG in November 2014 as a Pool Manager Asia before being promoted to Team Manager Kuoni & Helvetic Tours - Asia, Orient, Indian Ocean in September 2016. Manuel continued to excel in their career and eventually became the Head of Service Center Kuoni & Helvetic Tours in July 2023. Manuel's experience in team management, key account management, and customer service makes him a valuable asset in the travel industry.

Manuel Burger's education history includes multiple academic qualifications and professional certifications. In 2005 to 2008, they completed a Commercial Apprenticeship in Tourism at zB. Zentrum Bildung. In 2011, they attended KV Business School Zürich and obtained a Dipl. Event Manager (incl. Sponsoring) degree. In 2012, Manuel completed a Berufsbildnerkurs at berufsbildner.ch AG. Manuel further enhanced their language skills by obtaining a Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English from SEA Sydney English Academy in 2013. Manuel also attended SRV - Schweizer Reisebüroverband in 2016 for a Seminar für Ausbildungsverantwortliche. Finally, in 2022 to 2023, they pursued a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Business Administration with a major in Finance & Controlling at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
