Michael Siek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Michael started their career as a Technology Ambassador at the Grand Strand Technology Council in 2016 and held this position until 2017. In 2017, they joined PermitZone as a Data Modeler, where they worked until 2018. During their time at PermitZone, they also held the positions of Lead Software Engineer, Project Manager, and Software Developer at FogChain, Inc. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at FogChain, Inc. In 2019, they joined Deque Systems, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Product Owner in August 2021.

Michael Siek attended Horry-Georgetown Technical College from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Computer Science. Following that, they enrolled in Western Governors University in 2020 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Software Development in 2021. In addition to their academic achievements, Michael obtained the CompTIA Project+ Certification in June 2021 and the CompTIA A+ ce Certification in May 2021.
