Rebekah HorseChief serves as an Economic Development Specialist at the U.S. Department of the Interior, where the focus lies on promoting economic progress for tribal reservations through funding, advice, and resource access. Before this role, Rebekah worked as a Family Assistance Program Specialist at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and as a Program Coordinator for the National American Indian Court Judges Association. Additional experience includes positions at the University of Colorado Boulder, Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma, and Osage Nation, with roles ranging from Education Division Director to Office/Web Manager. Rebekah holds a Master's degree in Indigenous Peoples Law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and has a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature & Native American Studies from The University of New Mexico, complemented by a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
