Phillip Straney has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as an IT Systems Manager and Lead Information Systems Security Engineer at the U.S. Department of State since August 2011, where responsibilities include developing security software solutions and applications. Prior experience includes working as a Software Engineer at STG Inc. from October 2006 to August 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences, a Master of Science in Project Management, and multiple graduate certificates from The Citadel, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology from Limestone University, and an Associate of Science in Computer Technology from Trident Technical College.
