Nayana Kollanthara currently serves as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S. Department of State since November 2022 and has been a Research Fellow with the BIED Society since January 2021. Previous experience includes working as an International Trade Analyst at the U.S. International Trade Commission from June 2021 to November 2022, and as President of the BEA Toastmasters Club-8642 from July 2021 to June 2022. Nayana's background as an Economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis from May 2016 to June 2021 and as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at York University (2014-2015) complements academic qualifications with a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from McMaster University (2010-2014) and a Master of Arts in Economics from York University (2014-2015).
